Christine attended her first historical re-enactment in 1994 and instantly saw a way to combine her love of sewing with her passion for heritage. Creating historically correct clothing that reflects and indeed preserves the past, with a keen eye for comfort and style tailored to the wearer, is the quality marker for each and every piece of clothing produced by Way Back When... Historic Clothing and Accessories.

Pattern preservation, embroidery and camp covers are all off-shoots of the basic mission of historical clothing preservation and reproduction.
